Hints & tips

The first rule, in case you do not get further, is always to have a look onto your map from Torras Gogoud will give to you at the very beginning of the game. The standardised assignment on your keyboard should be "End" (see keyboard layout). Of course, you can change that in the game settings.

Cheaper items

Prices of items are increasing each further era. Therefore you should travel back to earlier eras. If you need your armour restored go to the blacksmith in the era of Taskan I. There are also magic fields in the monastery tower for instance that restore your armour for free.

Defeating opponents

Sometimes you can run away from opponents instead of fighting them. However, if you defeat them they could leave some useful items for you. By finishing all bats in a certain area you will get an item as well once. This does not apply to the sewer though.

Lack of plastyks (money)

If you are running out of plastyks you could run the race of Wellet in the era of Taskan II again. After achieving the ability to carry up to 500 plastyks, it is possible to repeat the race as many times as you want. For each completed race you will gain 150 plastyks.

Inventory size

You can only carry a limited amount of items and plastyks. Though, you can extend your inventory by completing following tasks:

  • 10 blue potions
    • Win the race of Jamous in the town of Torras (Taskan I)
    • He waits for you in a chicken house
  • 10 red potions
    • Win the race of Wellet in the forest by the era of Taskan I
    • Wellet stays on a ledge close to the fortress gate
  • 10 mauve potions
    • As soon as you bring back Senekal's wepaons, Prince Taskan III grants you the abillity to carry up to 10 mauve potions
  • 10 green herbs
    • You have to destroy all 10 beehives in the forest by the era of Taskan I
  • 10 yellow herbs
    • You have to destroy all 10 beehives in the forest by the era of Taskan III
  • 50 blue crossbow bolts
    • You have to destroy all 10 beehives in the town of Torras by the era of Taskan I
  • 50 red crossbow bolts
    • You have to destroy all 10 beehives in the town of Torras by the era of Taskan II
  • 500 plastyks
    • Win the race of Wellet in the town of Torras by the era of Taskan II
    • He appears again close to the fortress gate
    • Come back to him in the era of Taskan III to obtain the running boots
